Democrat Rep. Ritchie Torres ‘mistakenly’ voted against resolution condemning Hamas supporters at universities

New York Rep. Ritchie Torres, a Democrat, mentioned he mistakenly voted in opposition to a decision condemning Hamas supporters on faculty campuses amid the struggle between Israeli forces and Hamas terrorists.

Home lawmakers authorised a decision Thursday condemning faculty college students’ assist of Hamas, Hezbollah and different terrorist teams by a 396 to 23 vote.

“As a visual and vocal advocate in opposition to antisemitism on faculty campuses, particularly within the wake of October seventh, I’ve submitted a correction for the file,” Torres wrote Thursday on X, the platform previously referred to as Twitter.
