John Tory, Toronto mayor, resigns after affair with ex-staffer

TORONTO — The mayor of Canada’s largest metropolis has stepped down after acknowledging he had an affair with a former staffer.

Toronto Mayor John Tory stated at a late Friday night time information convention that he developed a relationship with an worker in his workplace.
