Jan. 31 (UPI) — Mali’s ruling navy junta expelled the French ambassador to the nation Monday, giving him 72 hours to depart the nation.

The information was reported by each CNN and France 24.

This comes after feedback Friday from French Overseas Minister Jean-Yves Le Drian that Mali’s junta, led by interim president Col. Assimi Goita, was “uncontrolled,” studies CNN.
