Sen. Rubio, Gov. DeSantis hold news conferences in Jacksonville

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Dozens of Florida’s sheriffs gathered in Jacksonville Monday to voice their assist for the reelection campaigns of two of the state’s high leaders.

Sen. Marco Rubio and Gov. Ron DeSantis each made marketing campaign stops on the Hyatt Regency Jacksonville Downtown. Among the many sheriffs who joined them have been Jacksonville Sheriff Mike Williams, Clay County Sheriff Michelle Cook dinner and Nassau County Sheriff Invoice Leeper.

Surrounded by dozens of badges, DeSantis stated his stance on supporting legislation enforcement and his opposition to the “Defund the Police” motion is the explanation Florida is a protected place to dwell.

“You look across the nation, it’s a a lot totally different image the place you see crime completely skyrocketing by the roof,” DeSantis stated. “That didn’t simply occur by chance.
