MIAMI — The College of Miami will begin the spring semester with remote-only courses amid surging circumstances of COVID-19 in South Florida.
Julio Frenk, the president of the non-public college in Coral Gables, introduced the choice to college students and employees late Wednesday.
Distant courses might be performed when the semester begins on Jan. 18, whereas in-person courses are anticipated to renew on Jan. 31.
Leaders of Florida’s public college system on Wednesday urged college students and employees to put on masks and get booster photographs and COVID-19 assessments after they return to campus.
